India's largest auto exporter and second largest auto manufacturer, Hyundai Motor Co. plans to launch Hyundai Avante in the Indian market very soon. Hyundai Avante is the fourth generation sedan model of D segment that will replace its discontinued model Hyundai Elantra. Hyundai Avante offers an excellent choice for drivers who need a stylish economic compact car with a handsome body.

Initially, the Hyundai Avante might be equipped with a 1.6 litre Gamma petrol engine and a diesel engine variant may follow. The 1.6  litre, DOHC, VVT, 4 cylinder, petrol engine is believed to pump out a top power of 118 bhp at 6200 rpm and churn out a peak torque of 156 Nm at 4200 rpm. The diesel variant of the car is reported to be loaded with a 1582cc, CRDi power-train that belts out a max power of 115 bhp at 4000 rpm and generates maximum torque of 260 nm at 1900 rpm. Both the mills are to be mated with 6 speed automatic gearbox. For better fuel economy, the petrol engine is reported to have intelligent Gasoline Direct Injection technology (GDI). Exterior Appearance

The upcoming sedan of Hyundai, Hyundai Avante possesses stunning exterior looks attributed to its newly designed front view and attracted rear side. The car has a chrome finished grille which has centrally positioned company logo, the lower side air intake slot comes with three glittering horizontal bars; the overall design of the nose of the car is awesome and stuns everyone with its 3 D design. The HID Xenon Headlamps reflect human-eye shape exactly that can be noticed from a pretty good distance. The fog lamp design also gives uniformity to the overall front appearance. Hyundai Avante also has a wide front wind screen that comes with front intermittent wipers. As the recent trend in the market, the rear view mirrors, door handles are wrapped in body colour: the ORVMs have integrated turn indicators. 

The rear view of the upcoming Hyundai Avante looks same as the other sedans that are compact, but the LED Tail lamp design renders the distinction. The tail lamp cluster comes across the trunk gate. The rear side has got twin brake lights as well that fills the void in the lower portion of the Hyundai Avante.

Interior Appearance 

The interior appearance of the Hyundai Avante casts a spell. The company has only unveiled the dashboard side picture of the latest Hyundai Avante. The dashboard design looks same as the Hyundai Sonata but with some difference. Hyundai Avante dashboard has two big shape pods with bright illumination at its instrument panel. Chrome strips at several components are easily visible and give it a sporty look. The power steering wheel has four spoke and mounted controls. Multi-information TFT LCD screen is there for the comfort of the driver. The rear seats are heated. The company has not disclosed other information about the cabin of the car, stay tuned to know more about the interiors.

Interior Comfort 

The Hyundai Avante is to come to India with a lot of comfort features for the driver and the passengers. The steering wheel of the car is adjustable and comes with control buttons, it also comes with power windows, tinted glass, rear defogger, electric driver seat adjustments, remote fuel filler, remote boot, remote central locking and AC with climate control.

Interior Measurement

The replacement of Hyundai Elantra - Hyundai Avante- is reported to be launched in India with two type of powertrains.  First one is a 1.6 litre, 1591cc, Gamma, DOHC, VVT, 4 cylinder, petrol engine, the engine is capable enough to generate a top power of 118 bhp at 6200 rpm and develops a peak torque of 156 Nm at 4200 rpm. The other engine which has a displacement of 1582cc is powered by a CDRi type is more powerful than its petrol variant; it belts out a max power output of 115 bhp at 4,000 rpm and lays out the highest torque of 260 NM at 1900 rpm. The engine is coupled with a six speed automatic transmission for better power delivery; these type of gearboxes are better suited for city riding where the driver needs to change gears again and again.

The engine is powered by intelligent Gasoline Direct Injection technology (GDI) along with Variable Valve Timing that ensures 10 per cent increase in fuel efficiency and engine power. It also helps to reduce emission level. The fuel supply system is MPFI that support the mileage by taking active part in engine operation.

Wheels 

The upcoming Hyundai Avante looks stunning with its eye-catching exterior design, the car is anticipated to have 15 inch wheels but the exact detail is still awaited. Alloy wheels are also fitted as per the segment standard.

Braking and Handling

The yet-to-be-launched Hyundai Avante is supposed to be fitted with advanced braking system that will result in easy handling. The front brake would be disc type while the rear brake might be drum type. The braking system would be equipped with ABS, EBD and ESP that will not only assist the driver to control the car but also ensure overall safety of the passengers. The India bound Hyundai Avante is believed to be dressed with most of the common and a few advanced systems including audio system, AC etc. The sedan might have an MP3 CD player which is sure to be integrated in dashboard. Along with this multimedia feature, the car may sport AC with climate control.
